Israel benefits from an adequacy decision of the European Commission, adopted in 2011 and maintained by Article 45(9) of the GDPR: data transfers to Israel do not require additional safeguards.

Data collected and purposes

Contact form

When you use the contact form, we collect your name, your email address and the content of your message. This data is used solely to answer your request. Legal basis: legitimate interest (handling an incoming request).

Free packs and guides

To download a free pack (studjoow.com/packs pages) or a free guide (typographic anatomy guide, colour meanings guide), an email address is required. The PDF is never given directly on the page: we send you an email with a confirmation link. Clicking that link is how you confirm your address and download the PDF.

Below the form there is a single box, unticked: "I do not want to receive the newsletter or offers from Studjoow".

• If you do not tick the box, confirming your address subscribes you to the Studjoow newsletter (once a month), and if you are a professional, Studjoow may write to you about services related to your activity. You are told this below the form, before you send it.
• If you tick the box, you receive no newsletter and no offers: your address is only used to send you the link to the PDF.

We record your email address, the pack or guide requested, the date of the request, the date of confirmation and your choice regarding the box (ticked or not).

This data is used to:

• send you the link to the PDF you requested. Legal basis: performance of your download request;
• subscribe you to the Studjoow newsletter and, if you are a professional, write to you about services related to your activity, when you have not ticked the box. Legal basis: legitimate interest for professionals, with a simple right to object. If you are a private individual, you can refuse by ticking the box, or unsubscribe at any time.

Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link. You can also object at any time, simply and free of charge, by writing to hello@studjoow.com.

This data is stored in the site's database (see "Processors").

Newsletter

You can also subscribe to the Studjoow newsletter with the form at the bottom of the site's pages. We then collect your email address. This subscription is voluntary: it only happens if you type your address into that form yourself and send it. It only takes effect once you click the confirmation link sent to that address (double opt-in): without that click, you receive nothing other than the confirmation message. Legal basis: explicit consent. When you download a free pack or guide, newsletter subscription follows the rules described above ("Free packs and guides"). Every newsletter includes a one-click unsubscribe link; you can also unsubscribe at any time by writing to hello@studjoow.com.

Technical data

The hosting server (Vercel) may record IP addresses and standard access logs for security and reliability purposes. Vercel Web Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights measure page traffic and performance without cookies.

Audience measurement and advertising (with your consent)

With your consent, given in the cookie banner, we use:

• Audience measurement: Google Analytics 4 (Google) and Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft), to understand how pages are read and improve them;
• Advertising: the Meta pixel (Meta Platforms), to measure the effectiveness of our ads.

Legal basis: consent. Without your consent, none of these scripts is loaded. You can change your choice at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

Processors

We use the following providers, each bound by GDPR-compliant Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs):

• Vercel Inc. (hosting, United States): privacy policy
• Resend Inc. (transactional emails and newsletter, United States): privacy policy
• Supabase Inc. (database: contact requests, sign-ups, free pack and guide downloads, Sk:vr audits): privacy policy

Only if you accept them in the cookie banner: Google (Google Analytics 4), Microsoft (Clarity) and Meta Platforms (Meta pixel).

Retention

Contact form: data kept for as long as needed to answer, then deleted within 12 months at most.
Free packs and guides: data kept for three years at most from the download or from your last exchange with us, then deleted. If you ticked the box, unsubscribe or object, we no longer send you any newsletter or offers.
Newsletter: email address kept until you unsubscribe or ask for deletion.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights over your personal data:

• Access: obtain a copy of the data concerning you.
• Rectification: correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Erasure: ask for your data to be deleted ("right to be forgotten").
• Objection: object to processing based on legitimate interest and, at any time and without giving reasons, to commercial prospecting.
• Portability: receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
• Withdrawal of consent: withdraw your consent at any time for processing that relies on it (newsletter, cookies).

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@studjoow.com. We reply within one month (Article 12 of the GDPR). In case of dispute, you can contact the CNIL if you live in France, or your local supervisory authority.

Cookies

Audience measurement cookies (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity) and advertising cookies (Meta pixel) are only set after your consent, collected by the banner shown on your first visit. The two categories are accepted separately. Your choice is stored in your browser and can be changed at any time with the "Manage cookies" link at the bottom of every page.

Technical cookies or storage strictly necessary for the site to work (language preferences, remembering your choice) may be used without prior consent.

Changes

This policy may be updated at any time. The date of the last revision is shown at the top of the page. We invite you to check it regularly.
