Les c\u00f4nes L, sensibles aux longueurs d&rsquo;onde longues, per\u00e7oivent principalement le rouge.<\/p>\n<h2>Le T\u00e9trachromatisme : Un Quatri\u00e8me Type de C\u00f4ne<\/h2>\n<p>R\u00e9cemment, des recherches sugg\u00e8rent l&rsquo;existence d&rsquo;un quatri\u00e8me type de photor\u00e9cepteur, sensible \u00e0 l&rsquo;orange. Les personnes poss\u00e9dant ce quatri\u00e8me type de c\u00f4ne, appel\u00e9es t\u00e9trachromates, per\u00e7oivent les nuances de couleurs diff\u00e9remment. Leur vision est particuli\u00e8rement aiguis\u00e9e dans les gammes de jaune, orange et rouge, soit les couleurs chaudes.<\/p>\n<h2>Une Perception Color\u00e9e Am\u00e9lior\u00e9e<\/h2>\n<p>Les t\u00e9trachromates auraient donc une capacit\u00e9 sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 distinguer les nuances dans les couleurs chaudes. La nuit, il devient difficile de distinguer les couleurs. Ils permettent une meilleure perception dans la p\u00e9nombre, surtout pour les teintes bleues. En revanche, la sensibilit\u00e9 aux couleurs rouges diminue.<\/p>\n<h2>Opposition des Couleurs et Perception C\u00e9r\u00e9brale<\/h2>\n<p>Notre cerveau traite les couleurs en termes d&rsquo;oppositions : vert et rouge, jaune et bleu, noir et blanc. En vieillissant, la corn\u00e9e peut jaunir l\u00e9g\u00e8rement. Ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne agit comme un filtre et modifie la perception des couleurs. Les personnes \u00e2g\u00e9es tendent \u00e0 percevoir le blanc bleut\u00e9 comme un blanc plus pur.<\/p>\n<h2>L&rsquo;Exemple de Claude Monet<\/h2>\n<p>Claude Monet, le c\u00e9l\u00e8bre peintre, illustre parfaitement ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne. Avec l&rsquo;\u00e2ge et l&rsquo;apparition d&rsquo;une cataracte, sa palette de couleurs a gliss\u00e9 vers des teintes jaunes et rouges. Apr\u00e8s son op\u00e9ration de la cataracte \u00e0 82 ans, il a peint des toiles aux tons nettement plus bleut\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<h2>Cataracte et Perception des Ultraviolets<\/h2>\n<p>Une \u00e9tude britannique de mai 2012 sugg\u00e8re que l&rsquo;op\u00e9ration de la cataracte de Monet aurait pu \u00e9largir son spectre de perception des couleurs, lui permettant m\u00eame de voir dans les ultraviolets. Cette perception est ancr\u00e9e dans notre culture. Toutefois, les scientifiques offrent une perspective diff\u00e9rente. Ils nous apprennent que les \u00e9toiles bleues sont, en fait, bien plus chaudes que les \u00e9toiles rouges.<\/p>\n<h2>La Science des Couleurs<\/h2>\n<p>Contrairement \u00e0 cette croyance populaire, la temp\u00e9rature des couleurs suit une logique inverse en astronomie. Plus une couleur tend vers le bleu, plus sa temp\u00e9rature est \u00e9lev\u00e9e. Cette lumi\u00e8re, aux teintes orang\u00e9es, influen\u00e7ait directement leur palette de couleurs.<\/p>\n<h2>Impact sur la Perception des Couleurs<\/h2>\n<p>Cette lumi\u00e8re orang\u00e9e est la raison pour laquelle de nombreux tableaux semblent tr\u00e8s bleus dans les mus\u00e9es. La lumi\u00e8re naturelle ou artificielle des galeries d&rsquo;art modifie la perception des couleurs originales choisies par l&rsquo;artiste.<\/p>\n<h2>Picasso et la Lumi\u00e8re de Chandelle<\/h2>\n<p>Une anecdote c\u00e9l\u00e8bre sugg\u00e8re que Picasso, dans ses d\u00e9buts, peignait \u00e0 la lumi\u00e8re de la bougie.
